The staff at Village Funeral Home is celebrating 10 years that the former Sherman-Wilk Funeral Home has been under the direction of Roy Langolf, who moved to Ortonville from Waterford to become an integral part of the Ortonville/Goodrich community. He is a 1981 graduate of Wayne State University’s Mortuary Science program.
“It’s been a great 10 years in the Ortonville/Goodrich community,” says Langolf. “It means so much to our staff that local families and businesses welcomed us wholeheartedly. It’s an honor to serve each of you and continuously educate our community.”
In celebration of Village’s 10 year anniversary, the staff will be focusing on promoting stories that showcase area residents “Living Life Well!” “Life is such a blessing and filled with so much goodness… we need to look around and be grateful for what is right in front of us,” says Langolf. “It’s good for the soul to keep seeking out the positive.”
Watch for Village’s “Living Life Well” series on the funeral home’s blog http://www.villagefh.com/resources/blog and on their social media outlets – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
